Quick Barcode Mode Procedure
Quick Barcode Mode includes following options:
- Linear and 2D Font
- General, color, image and font settings
- Export option
- E-mail settings
- Generate list with Batch Processing
- Printing etc.
Quick Barcode Mode
Software has two modes (Quick Barcode Mode and Barcode Designing View) to create barcode with any barcode technologies and types. Here we will discuss about barcode settings feature to design barcode for different industries.
Barcode Technologies and Type: Generate Barcode Label using Linear or 2D barcode fonts.
Linear Barcode Font: Linear barcodes are represented as a set of vertical black bars separated by white spaces on the horizontal. These black bars and the white spaces are different from each other in thickness, and the data is stored in the barcode based on the specific order of thin bars and spaces. Different types of linear barcodes like UPCA, UPCE, EAN18, Codabar, Code 39, etc. are available.
2D Barcode Font: 2D barcodes are typically shaped like a square with smaller black and white squares inserted inside. They encode both machine-readable information and text messages about the product to which they are connected. 2D barcodes encode data in two different forms: matrix and stack. In stacked 2D barcodes, data is stored in the form of stacks, whereas in matrix 2D barcodes, data is stored in the form of geometric patterns.
Select Barcode technology and type (e.g. Linear and UPCA font for demonstration) as per your industry need, and specify barcode value, header and footer etc. Using General settings, you can set different margins, character grouping, narrow to width ratio, etc. as shown in above screen.
Font Settings: Using Font Settings, you can specify barcode header, footer, and value font. Customize your barcode font by changing the font family, style, and size as per your requirement. You can also add the Strikeout and Underline effect on your barcode font
Color Settings: You can change background color, barcode color, barcode header, footer, and value color by using Color settings tab. You can also create your own custom color by changing the values of hue, sat, red, green, etc, and add it to the Custom Colors list.
Image Settings: In Image settings, Select clipboard image type either ‘Bitmap’ or ‘Resolution Independent Metafile'. If you have selected Bitmap option you can change Image DPI. You can also change orientation of your barcode image as per need.
