Columns and rows combination:
Every Databar MicroPDF417 symbol has one to four columns and between four and 44 rows. Only specific arrangements of rows and columns are permitted, as shown below.
1st column: 11, 14, 17, 20, 24, and 28 rows
2nd column: 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, and 26 rows
3rd column: 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 26, 32, 38, and 44 rows
4th column: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 26, 32, 38, and 44 rows
Databar MicroPDF417 symbols have a white space area (quiet zone) and a Left Row Address Pattern at the beginning of each row. Each concludes with a Right Row Address Pattern, a stop bar that is one module wide, and a silent area. The interstitial material depends on how many columns there are. There will be 0 to 2 Center Row Address Patterns and 1 to 4 Code Words. For further information, see the MicroPDF417 International Symbology Specification.
Designing Procedure:
DRPU Barcode Software – Corporate Edition has two modes of designing barcode software: Barcode Settings and Barcode Designing View.Here, we are creating barcode using Barcode Designing View. Click on barcode icon from toolbar to add it on card. To open the barcode property window, double click on inserted barcode.
➨ Select Barcode Technologies and Type: Go to designing view and select barcode type (2D font) and barcode font (Databar MicroPDF417) with barcode value, composite data (2D Symbology consists of a linear component, which encodes the item's primary data), header and footer etc.
➨Set Margins: In above screen, set bar height, X-dimension, margins according to your label.
➨ Specify Card Shape and Size: Using Card properties set card name, size and shape etc. according to your industrial needs.
Printing Procedure:
Click on print icon from toolbar and choose one of the printing modes to print your designed barcode.
➨ Manual Print Settings: In case of Manual Mode, you need to specify margins and print options etc. to print designed barcode font images. If you want to change page properties go to Edit button.
➨ Printing Barcode Labels: Thermal printer prints Databar MicroPDF417 barcode font images on labels.
You can also print your designed barcodes with pre define label stock mode.
➨ Pre define label stock print mode: In case of Pre Define Label Stock Mode, you need to choose label product and product number. Then set printer details to proceed.
➨ Printing Barcode Fonts on sheet: Following picture shows printing of labels using Laser Printer.
➨ Scan Databar MicroPDF417 Font: Finally you can scan printed barcode images.
