A specific 2D Composite Component (CC) symbol, such as MicroPDF417, is printed on top of a linear barcode component UPCE to create the composite symbology known as Databar UPCE. The item's main data is encoded in the linear component. Additional data, including a batch number and expiration date, are encoded in the adjacent 2D Composite Component (CC).

Designing Procedure:
Select one of the barcode designing modes: Barcode Settings or Barcode Designing View. Here, we are going to design Databar UPCE barcode font using Barcode Designing View. Click on barcode icon from toolbar (drawing tools) to add it on your label. To edit default settings of barcode, double click on inserted barcode.
➨ Select Barcode Technologies and Type: Set barcode type and technology with barcode value, header, footer etc. according to your requirements.
➨ Set Margins: You can easily set bar height, margins, X dimension etc. For creating a group of barcode value or characters, go to the Character Grouping option where you can group your characters in 0, 3, 4, or 5 digits.
➨ Specify Card Shape and Size: Set various card properties according to your require sheets or labels.
Printing Procedure:
After completing your designing process, click on print icon from standard toolbar. In print window choose print mode either Manual or Pre define Label Stock mode.
➨ Manual Print Settings: If you are choosing manual mode to print barcode images, specify margins between labels and printer details etc. To alter page properties, click on Edit button.
➨ Printing Barcode Labels: Software is capable of designing barcode tags and labels in a easy step by step approach. Barcode software allows you to print your Databar UPCE barcode via thermal printer.
If you need to print barcode font (designed by DRPU Software as shown above) with pre define label stock mode, follow below steps:
➨ Pre define label stock print: Click on print icon from above toolbar to print barcode images using either Pre Define Label Stock Mode or Manual Mode.
In Pre Define Label Stock Mode, choose label product with its number and adjust printer settings as per choice.
➨ Printing Barcode Fonts on sheet: Screen shows you Databar UPCE barcode sheet printed using Laser Printer.
➨ Scan Databar UPCE Font: Now your designed barcode is ready to use.
